Close encounter of the baby kind

Mama met us at our booth at FACTS in october 2018. She was a few months pregnant and on the look-out for a unique birth announcement card. We talked about the experience of the indistinguishable images of a first echograph, which inevitable gives any baby alien-like qualities :). While we were talking, the idea of a little alien baby traveling to her parents on earth took shape. But never say "just" alien to an alien: there are so many of them! After a few sketches with a little less Klingon or predator but a touch more Rosswell-Grey we finalised the concept. Mama & Papa came over for a visit to talk things through and look into the different possibilities for the treats/suikerbonen: they decided to go for a whole UFO fleet filled with suikerbonen. When everything was finished we had a fleet of 160 green and purple UFO's on our dining room table! Mama & Papa also wanted a little invitation card (A7) to invite people to Karolien's first party (babyshower). The files and UFO's were ready and on the 5th of March little Karolien was born. After nine months of waiting the fleet of UFO's could finally boldly go where no baby has gone before to spread the good news! Congratulations to the parents.
